Memcached in Website Hosting
When you host script-driven websites in a website hosting account with us, you will be able to add the Memcached object caching system to your hosting plan with only a few mouse clicks from your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The upgrade will be available momentarily and, since the necessary extension is already installed on our leading-edge cloud web hosting platform, you can begin using it straight away. To give you more versatility, we offer two different upgrades related to the number of instances (i.e. how many Internet sites will use Memcached) and to the system memory that the Memcached caching system will use. The latter comes in increments of 16 MB and you can order memory as many times as you like. Naturally, the more memory Memcached is allowed to use, the more content it will cache, so if you manage a resource-requiring site with a lot of content, you may need more memory so as to be able to make the most of the power that Memcached can offer you.
Memcached in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you choose to host your websites in a semi-dedicated server account, you’ll be able to take advantage of Memcached with ease, since the content caching platform’s activation requires several clicks of the mouse from the Hepsia Control Panel. The PHP extension that is required is already installed on our servers, so you can begin using the Memcached caching platform as soon as you add it to your semi-dedicated server account. You will be able to choose how many websites can use it and how much information can be cached, in other words – there are two separate upgradable features – the instances and the system memory. You can get more of both, so if one of your sites becomes extremely busy, for instance, you can always add more memory to it. Our system is very flexible in this regard and we don’t tie a given number of instances to a fixed amount of memory. You can take advantage of the Memcached platform to boost the loading speed of any script-powered website, including those based on popular apps, such as Joomla™ or WordPress.
